How does the iGramDown media resolver fetch files?

When you paste a link, our server acts as a proxy client. It makes a request to the public URL, parses the layout representation to locate the direct media source URL on Instagram's Content Delivery Network (CDN), and sends that stream directly to your client. No data is stored locally on our disk.

Can I save multi-slide posts (carousels)?

Yes. iGramDown scans the entire post metadata. If it contains multiple photos or video clips, the tool renders separate preview panels so you can inspect and download each file individually at its original source dimensions.

Why do some resolved video streams fail to show audio?

In some cases, Instagram serves separate audio and video segments, or the audio track is muted due to region-specific copyright restrictions. Our engine attempts to merge the separate tracks in the browser, but you may occasionally encounter muted streams if the original track is locked by the social platform.

Is my Instagram profile safe when using this tool?
